『情婦』的英文說法:

久違了! 青年先生又來了!

青年先生遠遊了好一陣子，在此問候各位好朋友安好，日前青年先生參加一個聚會，會中Alice小姐問到『情婦』一詞英文如何表達？接著坐在Alice小姐旁邊的男士，也隨口問道，有『情婦』就有『情夫』。

嗯---很有趣的『情婦』問題? 咦? 怎麼不問 『姦夫』『姦婦』呢?

mistress情婦---A woman who has a continuing sexual relationship with a usually married man who is not her husband and from whom she generally receives material support.

Examples:

1. She was his mistress for a year.

她曾做過他1年的情婦。

2. Billy has a wife and three mistress.

他有妻子，還有三個情婦。

3. He is her lover; she is his mistress. 

他是她的情夫,她是他的情婦。

paramour情婦/情夫---A lover, especially one in an adulterous relationship.

您也可以這樣說--- A lover….似乎『情夫』比較順耳

Examples:

1. His wife suspected that he had a paramour.

他妻子懷疑他有情婦

2. She has kept the secret of her paramour

她始终不泄露她的情夫。

 

adulterer姦夫----One who commits 1. someone who commits adultery or fornication

Example:

•God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

adulteress姦婦---a woman adulterer" if she marries another man while her husband is still alive

Example:

•Alice is a serial adulteress, cheat and crook who leaves a trail of social chaos and heartbreak in her wake.

他們在偷情。

外遇

(having an extramarital relation)

Bill is having an extramarital relation.

比爾有外遇。
