Why my children will not be inheriting my £180million fortune

As one of the world’s most successful rock stars, he has risen from an impoverished childhood to amass a huge fortune.

Now Sting has made it clear  that his children will also have to earn their own way and should not expect to benefit from his £180 million earnings.

In a frank interview in today’s Mail on Sunday Event magazine, the former Police frontman said  he expected his three sons and three daughters to work, and added that there would not be much left to inherit anyway.

Sting, 62, who still has more than 100 people on his payroll, said: ‘I told them there won’t be much money left because we are spending it! We have a lot of commitments. What comes in, we spend, and there isn’t much left.’

He added: ‘I certainly don’t want to leave them trust funds that are albatrosses round their necks.

‘They have to work. All my kids know that and they rarely ask me for anything, which I really respect and appreciate.

‘Obviously, if they were in trouble I would help them, but I’ve never really had to do that. They have the work ethic that makes them want to succeed on their own merit.’

Sting is not the only celebrity who expects their children to stand on their own feet.

Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson said a few years ago: ‘I am determined that my children should have no financial  security. It ruins people not having to earn money.’

Hidden video camera systems can be quite a helpful resource if you want to protect your home or business from theft, or for protecting your children from abuse. Hidden cameras have also been used to expose child labor, animal abuse, police misconduct, and other broken laws. But what about peeping toms that use cameras to capture video and photos? Because these tiny video systems are extremely easy to purchase and use, perverts can easily get their hands of them and violate your privacy.

You may have already had your privacy violated by one of these criminals and not even know it. Peeping toms who use non-consensual video and pictures for personal or financial perversions are breaking the law. Persons who invade others privacy with the use of video cameras and photos are perverted criminals and should be treated as such. In fact the percentage of perverts who like this type of material is relatively small compared to other sexual fetishes.

This crime can deal a damaging blow to your self esteem and you may even find you are uncomfortable going to the bathroom, showering, getting dressed and undressed, and even wearing certain clothing in public. Victims may find it extremely difficult at first to trust others, especially in unfamiliar surroundings.

【本報訊】近年不少富豪宣布，在死後捐出自己的億萬財產，不會讓下一代坐享其成。英國搖滾巨星史汀（Sting）日前受訪時，亦表明他不會將財產留給六名子女，希望他們能自食其力，憑雙手努力賺錢。

草根出身的史汀，自小生活困苦，曾身兼多職幫補家計。後來史汀與友人自組樂隊，在倫敦的酒吧演出後一炮成名，登上國際搖滾樂的舞台。史汀如今坐擁約一億八千萬鎊（約二十三億七千萬港元）身家，卻沒計劃讓三子三女繼承遺產。他表示已告訴子女，別期望他會留下很大筆遺產，因他已花掉很多錢。史汀又指，若為子女成立信託基金，反會為他們帶來壓力。


雖然史汀望子女能靠自己打拚，但亦稱若子女遇上麻煩，絕對會負起為人父的責任，向他們伸出援手。不過他指子女現已甚少向他提出要求，因他們均各自有一番事業，他亦對此感到欣慰。

【陳啟明、黃仲明╱桃園報導】真是變態！一名年薪近400萬元的科技公司高階主管，前天傍晚（台灣時間）從美國舊金山搭華航班機飛來台灣途中，他竟在商務艙廁所裝設針孔攝影機，偷拍空姐及其他乘客如廁畫面，一名空姐進入廁所維修水龍頭時，赫然發現遭裝設針孔，但她機警未打草驚蛇，在廁所門上掛「使用中」牌子後，暗中觀察要揪出這名飛機狼。

變態男果然在凌晨4時許，偷偷到廁所取回針孔攝影機，行徑均被4名空服員看在眼裡，昨上午班機飛抵桃園後，航警立刻登機逮捕變態男，並在他的隨身行李搜出5具針孔攝影機，並查出共有3男3女遭偷拍，包括一名空姐也受害。對於4名空服員傑出表現，華航表示將公開表揚，並納入空服訓練教材。

【綜合報導】華航空姐發現商務艙廁所遭裝針孔偷拍，為智擒偷拍狼，空姐先在廁所門掛上「使用中」牌子，四名空服員輪流守株待兔七小時後，果然守到偷拍狼進入廁所取回針孔。不過，讓人驚訝的是，航警在嫌犯隨身行李中共搜出五具針孔攝影機，並查出至少有六人如廁遭偷拍，但嫌犯稱偷拍只為追求刺激，並辯在「測試針孔性能」，訊後被檢方諭令三萬元交保。
